Itinerary

You will meet our representative when you land at the Tribhuvan International Airport. He/she will greet you, drive to our luxury Nepali authentic restaurant, and assist you in checking in at Thamel. So, please keep your eyes on someone holding a placard with your name or our company’s name – Nomadways Adventure.

In the evening, we arrange a short introduction meeting. After that, you will meet your guide, and our trekking expert will provide you with all the detailed information about the Trek.

We offer you a welcome dinner, and you simply take a rest at the restaurant. Then, overnight, you stay at our restaurant and restore your energy to accomplish your upcoming adventurous trip to Annapurna Base Camp.

Today, you are going to enjoy the Kathmandu Valley Tour – the city full of World Heritage Sites, Nepali culture, and many more to explore.

Early morning, we offer you a warm breakfast, and your sightseeing starts with our city guide. At first, you visit Pashupatinath Temple – the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River, then move to Boudhanath Stupa – the most significant Buddhist Stupa architecture in the world. After that, we will drive you to Patan Durbar Square. In addition, we take you to Swayambhu Nath Stupa – the 2000 years old legendary stupa on the hilltop also nick-named as monkey temple. Finally, we come to Kathmandu Durbar Square, observe Kumari Temple (living goddess temple), Natale Durbar, the Kaal Bhairav, the Swe Bhairav, the freak streets, and more.

Your exciting city tour finishes in the evening. Then, you take a delicious dinner and take a rest collecting energy for the upcoming adventure.

Early in the morning, we take a warm breakfast. Then, we start our lovely trip to Pokhara via a luxury tourist bus. On the way, you witness the picturesque green landscapes, farm terraces, and rows of settlements on both sides of the road. Also, capture the beauty of distant mountains, close gigantic hills, rural settlements, fast-flowing rivers (Trishuli, Narayani, and Marsyangdi).

If you feel tired of a long bus journey, then you have the option of flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara (about 25 minutes) at an extra cost. The choice is yours.

Ultimately, you reach Pokhara – the city of lakes, multi-culture, and the main tourist hub. We will transfer you to the Hotel. You get up and take a rest. You can go for an evening walk around the lakeside city and explore vivid Pokhara in the evening.

Before you go to bed, you will receive a short briefing about the Trek to Mardi Himal Trek.

After taking a warm breakfast, we start our Trek to Mardi Himal. We drive you in a hired jeep through the dusty and off-road to Phedi. From Phedi, we start trekking. Passing through dense tropical forests, we reach Dhampus and take Lunch here.

Your Trek starts becoming more and more exciting. From Dhampus, you perceive spectacular views of the Annapurna Ranges. Further, you climb a wooded ridge for about 2 hours and reach Pothana. Overnight, we stay and take a restat Pothana.

Today, your day is going to be unique. After traveling for about 7 hours, we enter the forest – an enchanted forest of birch, giant rhododendron, mountain oak, maple, hemlock, and daphnia.

We set a camp here, spend a night and enjoy in relaxation. This is a part of your adventure to Mardi Himal Trek.

Alternatively, we can stay at Hotel at Forest Camp.

From Forest Camp, we go up to Low Camp. On the way of your trip, you find the flora has turned to classic cloud forest with mosses and lichen, tree ferns, and orchids. Through the narrow window-like spaces in the woods, you peep onto the thrilling panorama – close-up dramatic scenery of sacred Mt. Machhapuchhare, Mardi Himal, and Annapurna chains.

In the end, we reach Low Camp and stay here overnight.

On this 7th day of our Trek, after early breakfast at Low Camp, we start climbing up to High Camp – the highest point of the Mardi Himal Trek.

Enjoy the great ice fields and the blue glaciers of the Annapurna sanctuary walls lying below us. Above, the shining sacred giant mountains and their panoramic views make you take a deep breath. This is an unforgettable moment in your life.

After enjoying the Himalayas, we drop to High Camp.

On this day, you drop your heavy loads at Hotel at High Camp and trek through narrow Yak tail and sloppy sheep grazing Land. You walk slowly. As you go higher, less oxygen level makes you feel heavier. So be careful.

When you reach the Upper View Point, capture the hypnotic landscape and stunning view of Mardi Himal, Mt. Machhapuchhre (fishtail), Hiuchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna II, and many more Himalayan ranges. This is an unforgettable day of the Trek.

After enjoying the panoramic views, we retreat to High Camp for Lunch.

After early breakfast, we descend to Siding village, walking through the shade of the forest and terraced fields. Ahead, we trek along the way of the Mardi Khola. We pass by lovely fields farmland and cross suspension bridges on the route.

Lastly, we reach Sidding and stay overnight at camp or Hotel.

From Sidding, we drive you back to Pokhara. Traveling on the rough, bumpy rural roads, you can see local villages, traditional farming, and local people. After 2 hours’ drive, we reach Pokhara and take Lunch.

In Pokhara, you can explore famous tourist places – Mahendra Cave, David’s Fall, Bats’ Cave, Fewa Lake, and many more.

In the evening, we celebrate our triumph in Pokhara – the most beautiful and main tourist destination in Nepal.

Early in the morning, we take a warm breakfast in Pokhara. Then, we drive back to Kathmandu in a luxury tourist bus. On the way, you enjoy the scenic pastoral landscapes, terrace farming, green rolling hills, fast-flowing rivers, and rows of settlements on both sides of the road.

After 6-7 hours of a comfortable journey, we reach Kathmandu and transfer you to the restaurant. You can take a rest or explore the streets and markets in Kathmandu. Even you can enjoy various foods at different restaurants in Thamel – Nepal’s No. 1 tourist city.
