The Gosainkunda Helambu Trek is a scenic and spiritual trek in the Langtang National Park in Nepal. It takes trekkers to Gosainkunda Lake, a sacred site for Hindus, and through the Helambu region, known for its beautiful landscapes, Sherpa culture, and vibrant villages.
The best time to trek is during the pre-monsoon (March to May) and post-monsoon (September to November) seasons. These months offer clear skies, pleasant weather, and the best views of the surrounding mountains.
Accommodation along the trek generally consists of tea houses or lodges. These are basic but comfortable, providing a bed, meals, and sometimes a hot shower. In higher altitudes, facilities can be more limited.
