Today, you are going to enjoy the Kathmandu Valley Tour – the city full of World Heritage Sites, Nepali culture, and many more to explore.
Early morning, we offer you a warm breakfast, and your sightseeing starts with our city guide. At first, you visit Pashupatinath Temple – the holiest Hindu Temple on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River, then move to Boudhanath Stupa – the biggest Buddhist Stupa architecture in the world. After that, we will drive you to Patan Durbar Square. In addition, we take you to Swayambhunath Stupa – the 2000 years old legendary stupa on the hilltop also nick-named as monkey temple. Finally, we come to Kathmandu Durbar Square, observe Kumari Temple (living goddess temple), Nautale Durbar, the Kaal Bhairav, the Swet Bhairav, the freak streets, and more.
Your exciting city tour finishes in the evening. Then, you take a delicious dinner and take a rest collecting energy for the upcoming adventure.
On this first day, we take a light breakfast and drive you in our private van via Kakani to Trishuli Bazaar to Syabrubesi. To reach Syabrubesi, it takes 8-9 hours on drive. We drive through the dense forest, pastoral villages, terraced fields, and narrow ridges. No worries! The off-road trails offer you pristine green scenery, outstanding landscapes, incredible mountain ranges, and snow-capped mountains, including Mt. Annapurna II, Ganesh Himal, Mt. Manaslu, Langtang Lirung, and a few other peaks.
The whole night, we stay at Syabrubesi, enjoy delicious meals, and take restore our energy.
After early morning breakfast, we Trek from Syabubesi to Gatlang – the first Tamang village. We cross through dense forest and go uphill to Goljung village during the journey. From the viewpoint of Goljung village, you observe Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal Range, Gosaikunda Valley, and other various peaks, lakes, and cliffs. Finally, descending to the top of the ride for a couple of hours, we reach Gatlang. You feel happy after seeing this beautiful village with clustered houses and green landscapes.
Overnight, we stay here at Gatlang.
Today, after early breakfast at the traditional Tamang village, we head towards Tatopani. At first, we go down Thambuchet walking by the terraced fields and passing through dense forest. Next, trekking along the Bhote Koshi River, we reach Chilime village. From Chilime, we drop to Chilime Khola, cross a suspension bridge and climb up to Gonggang and Tatopani.
At Tatopani, you can enjoy a hot shower in a natural hot spring. Overnight, we stay here at Tatopani.
On this day, we trek from Tatopani to Thuman. First, we follow the trails through dense forest, reach Brimdang, and then go to Nangthali village. From Nangthali, you can enjoy shining snow-capped mountains – Langtang Himal, Kerung Himal, Ganesh Himal, and many other peaks.
You can observe Gompa enjoy monks’ meditation and prayer. Overnight, we stay at Thuman.
We take a delicious breakfast and start trekking from Thuman to Briddim. Passing through the dense forest following the traditional Nepal-Tibet trading route, we reach Timure. Further, we descend to the Bhote Khoshi river, pass Pelko (a village), then climb to Lingling. From Lingling, we walk further and reach Briddim – the most beautiful Tamang village in the region. Observe Tamang culture enjoy their organic hospitality and lifestyle.
Overnight, we stay at Briddim village.
We trek down from Briddim to Syabrubesi. We pass through the dense green forest, terraced fields, and traditional villages, following the trails down. Also, enjoy the wonderful view of panoramic scenery, pristine mountain ranges, and rural Tamang lifestyle, culture, and tradition.
Overnight, we stay at Syabrubesi.
Today, your trek to Tamang Heritage concludes. After a warm breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu, passing via small hills and dusty roads, deep forests, rural villages, and terraced agriculture. The trip allows us to take in the quiet setting, rich green vegetation, and picturesque mountain ranges. Finally, we arrive in Kathmandu in the afternoon after a 9-10 hours’ drive. Today, you may relax and check your bags for tomorrow’s departure.
In Kathmandu, we will transfer you to the hotel. Then, you can take a rest or explore the streets and markets in Kathmandu. Even you can enjoy various cuisines at different restaurants in Thamel – Nepal’s No. 1 tourist city.
On this final day, offering you a light breakfast, we transfer to the Tribhuvan International airport via our private transportation. We bid you a happy ‘Goodbye’ and wish you a safe flight.
